SHIPWRECK ADVENTURE FOR CHILDREN
Join an adventure for the family where you get to see wrecks from the surface and explore with a pair of water-binoculars.
The shipwreck adventure takes you on a trip in the archipelago closest to Naven where we discover wrecks from the surface and use water-binoculars to see what is hidden under the surface. Myths and reality are mixed when the guide takes you back in history where mermaids and witchcraft were part of everyday life. We will paddle in some places where you usually do not paddle, to get there the adults may even need to step out of the kayak for us to get there. This tour is adapted for 5-12 year olds.
Duration: 2 hours
Location: The kayak rental at Naven.
Included: Fully equipped kayak, paddle, life jacket, spraydeck and guide.
What to bring: Change of clothes (if you get wet)and a water bottle
Experience: No previous experience of kayaking is required. The adult needs to be able to swim.
Good to know: Children under the age of 15 paddle with an adult in a double or triple kayak. You need to be able to sit in the kayak for about 1.5 hours. You are counted as an adult from 15 years, this tour is adapted for 5-12 year olds. Not sure what to wear? Dress as you would for a lighter workout. If you use glasses, keep in mind that they can fall off so bring a spectacle cord (We have spectacle cords for sale at the kayak rental).
Good to have: Sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, sandals or slippers, rain jacket or windbreaker.
