Cosy cottage placed at the edge of the forest and close to the shores of lake Vänern. Enjoy the nature and watch magical sunsets from the cottage.
The Red Cottage is one of the two Katrinefors cottages that lies by Ersbäcken on Kållandsö. The cottage is simply decorated with a fully equipped kitchen and toilet with shower. There are two bedrooms with a bunk bed in each room. The upper bed is 80 cm wide and the lower bed is 120 cm wide. There’s also a veranda with outdoor furniture and grill. The cottage is perfect for a company of four people.
Closest neighbor is the Green Cottage, if you’re a larger family or company you can rent both cottages. When you’ve parked the car you walk about 200 m to the cottage on a path of bark. For transportation of your luggage there is a wheelbarrow at hand.
Here you can enjoy and explore the nature. There are great options for swimming, mushroom and berry picking, everything just around the corner. By Traneberg, about 4 km from the cottage, lies Läckö Golf course and Traneberg Guest house with dinner servings. Every evening you’ll see the sunset glimmering in the water between the trees.
